We provide "Excellence at the Point of Service" because we are a client focused organization.
Guiding Principles
Our Client Focused Organizational Structure provides common purpose, free movement of information and authority to act across the entire company so our associates are empowered to provide "Excellence at the Point of Service;" 24/7/365.
The Point of Service (POS) is defined as every contact the client has with GLN. Controlling the POS is the responsibility of every associate, empowering them with the information, resources and coordination between the different core services is management's responsibility.
There is one unifying power that can focus and align different disciplines within a Global Supply Chain company. One common focus, which provides direction in changing market conditions, is allowing companies to act at high speed without having layers of bureaucracy to approve each decision along the supply chain. This unifying power, common focus and source of direction is our ?Client?s Needs.?
A "Client Focused Structure" empowers and aligns our associates through common purpose. Free flowing information and decision making ability provides competitive advantage by allowing us to react quicker and even anticipate changing client needs without having to push information up the chain of command.
Our mission statement is one sentence long: "GLN provides Excellence at the Point of Service so our Clients can thrive in the Global Economy".
Since we are horizontally aligned company, information must flow quickly into the center and out to the senior management responsible for supporting core services, providing resources and supporting their subordinates.
We must think in and out to the point of service; not up and down the chain of command.
